STANAG 2897 and AEODP-7 provide the guideline for testing of non-magnetic tools to be used in explosive ordnance disposal (EOD). The method is based on the determination of the residual magnetic field of the tool components using total field or gradient magnetometers. MAGNETOSCOP and MAGNETOMAT magnetometers with differential probe or field and gradient probe are in accordance with this standard.

API Spec 7 describes the measurement of drill collars to confirm their low magnetic property. The method is based on the determination of the residual magnetic field and the the relative permeability µr. MAGNETOSCOP and MAGNETOMAT magnetometers with differential probe and permeability probe are in accordance with this standard.

ASTM A342M method 4 describes the determination of the relative permeability µr for low permeability material in the range of 1.0 to 2.0. MAGNETOSCOP and MAGNETOMAT with permeability probe are in accordance with the requirements of this test method. The advantage of this method is the ability to measure the material or manufactured components in situation. It is not necessary to produce test specimen of specific size or shape.

ASTM B886 describes the method to determine the magnetic saturation of sintered hard metals. KOERZIMAT MS is in accordance with the requirements of this standard.

ASTM B887 describes the method to determine the coercive field strength of sintered hard metals. KOERZIMAT HCJ is in accordance with the requirements of this standard.

DIN ISO 3326 describes the method to determine the coercive field strength of sintered hard metals. KOERZIMAT HCJ is in accordance with the requirements of this standard.

IEC 60404-7 method B describes the determination the coercive field strength HCJ in an open magnetic circuit. KOERZIMAT HCJ is in accordance with the requirements of this standard. The advantage of method B is the possibility to measure test specimen almost geometry independent. It is not necessary to manufacture test specimen of specific size or shape.

IEC 60404-14 describes the determination the magnetic saturation dipole moment jS using detection coils in an open magnetic circuit. KOERZIMAT MS is in accordance with the requirements of this standard. The advantage of this method is the possibility to measure test specimen almost geometry independent. It is not necessary to manufacture test specimen of specific size or shape.
